    Berklee's Summer in the City concert series, presented by Natixis Global Asset Management, continues with Berklee singer/songwriter Emily Elbert. The rising folk artist will perform two free outdoor shows Thursday, 7/28, at noon in Kendal Square, 300 Athenaeum Street, in Cambridge; and 6 p.m. at the Institute of Contemporary Art, Putnam Investment Plaza, 100 Northern Avenue, in Boston. Emily Elbert, who recently released her second album, Proof, has won numerous awards, including Glamour magazine's Top 10 College Women (http://glmr.me/elbert), a spot in the Gibson/Baldwin Grammy Foundation's jazz ensemble, and WUMB's Best New Artist of 2008. Raised in Texas, Elbert has played across the U.S. and in Scotland, Puerto Rico, and Peru. Her cover of Michael Jackson's "Thriller" has over 330,000 YouTube views (http://bit.ly/ethriller).
