The Judeo-Spanish Culture as Imagined Community and Portable Homeland

In the words of Professor Michal Held, the Jewish language has historically functioned as a “portable homeland.” In her lecture, Held will explore the confluence of Jewish and Spanish culture and language by reflecting on her own heritage and personal narratives from her book Come, I’ll Tell you/Ven, te Kontare.
