Grammy Award® nominated Death Cab for Cutie hails from the idyllic hamlet of Bellingham, WA. Their debut album, Something About Airplanes, was released in 1998, and their popularity began to rise. The follow up We Have the Facts and We're Voting Yes was released in 2000, along with the EP The Forbidden Love, with the third album The Photo Album came along in 2001. After enjoying ever increasing popularity, Transatlanticism was released in 2003, songs from which were featured in the television show The O.C. Signing to Atlantic Records in 2004, they released Plans the next year, with Narrow Stairs coming along in 2008. 2009 saw the band on tour the world over, and also the release of the EP The Open Door.
