Turning Point, BoSoma’s Fall 2011 Season is sure to offer a wide-ranging night of dance that will entertain and electrify audiences. The company will perform a section of Award Winning New York Choreographer David Dorfman’s, The Funk Prophecy, which celebrates the ground breaking, visceral and powerful funk music from the 1960s and ‘70s. Dorfman’s choreography in this “innovative, radically humanistic, movement-based work, will inspire dialogue and leave viewers wanting more of its kinetic feast”, writes the Westerly Sun. In addition, BoSoma will perform works by guest choreographers, Ricardo Foster (Boston) and Sandra Parks (Atlanta). BoSoma's Artistic Directors will each debut their new works, Speaking in Code choreographed by Katherine Hooper and Chapters, choreographed by Irada Djelassi.
