Precious Metal Clay Jewelry
November 3-November 24, 2011
Add Review/Comment
Learn to make beautiful jewelry out of precious metal clay (PMC). PMC is a new material developed in the 1990s and made of microscopic silver particles mixed with a binder for easy clay-like manipulation. Pieces will be constructed in class, fired in a kiln off site, and returned to artists to be polished, embellished, and worn. Students will learn how to set stones and use syringe clay to add sparkle to their designs. Tuition includes cost of materials.
