Join fine artists Tim Barnes and Shari Rubeck for an artists' reception and light brunch to benefit the Boston Living Center. Sunday May 17th from 12pm-3pm. Tim Barnes is a landscape architect turned fine artist who often combines media of the earth with oil on canvas. His art has rich earth tones and textures that evoke a connection to the land around us. Shari Rubeck paints with oil on canvas and fuses design, abstraction, theater, costumes, circus and the figure, whether human, animal or a combination of both. Each of her paintings is a captured moment in a strange performance, sure to leave the viewer delighted and intrigued. A portion of the proceeds raised will benefit the Boston Living Center. Those in attendance will be entered to win a $50 gift certificate to Legal Sea Foods.
