The vocal ensemble Blue Heron, directed by Scott Metcalfe, will perform a program of sacred music from Liber selectarum cantionum (Book of select songs, 1520), a collection of motets from the imperial chapel of the Habsburg emperor Maximilian I. Music by Josquin Desprez, Heinrich Isaac, and Ludwig Senfl.
This performance is made possible by funding from the National Endowment for the Humanities.

Admission Info:
Free admission. Space is limited; tickets are required. Tickets for the 2pm and 4pm performances will be distributed at the admission desk of the Sackler Museum beginning at 10am on the day of the performances. Doors of Adolphus Busch Hall will open 30 minutes before each performance.
