The extraordinary comic and musical soul of 1930s Harlem lives on in this rollicking, swinging evening of rowdy, raunchy, and humorous songs, including "Honeysuckle Rose," "The Joint is Jumpin'," "I Can't Give You Anything but Love," and many others that capture the various moods of the era and reflect Waller's view of life as a journey meant for pleasure and play.
