KIDS & FAMILIES

The Whitman Hanson Education Foundation ( a non-profit organization that raises funds for grants to the Whitman-Hanson schools) will be holding its fifth Kids Fitness Festival at the Whitman Hanson Regional High School. The focus of this festival will be on presenting children with healthy food choices, non-electronic activities and exercise so that they can incorporate these into their daily lives. Last year our some of the activities included: karate demonstrations, origami, stamping, face painting, several obstacle courses, dancing demonstrations, bungee racing, etc... Participants were also offered free milk, juice, pretzels, popcorn, fruit, fruit kabobs, granola, water and much more.
