Please join Boston Ballet Principal Dancer Misa Kuranaga for an evening to support the ongoing relief efforts in Japan. A Thousand Cranes, emceed by 7NEWS Janet Wu, will feature special performances by Boston Ballet Company dancers.
All proceeds will benefit the Japanese Disaster Relief Fund - Boston. The Fund was established in the aftermath of the March 11th earthquake and tsunami that devastated northeastern Japan and severely damaged the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear reactor. More than 80,000 survivors and evacuees continue to live in temporary shelters in the wake of this tragedy.
