Antonio Gaudi (1852-1926) was a Catalan architect whose work ranged from lamp posts to furniture to grand casas and churches. Architectural historian Christiane Collins, a native of Chile, is personally familiar with his renowned works in Barcelona, several of which include mosaics that have inspired artists all over the world.
