With a tripod, Todd Hido makes night photographs of suburban neighborhoods, using long exposures to capture the effects of fog, and light from streetlamps and windows. Hido’s project relates closely to Feininger’s atmospheric night photographs of the Bauhaus building and the surrounding neighborhood.
