Overshine is a five piece band formed of veteran Boston musicians with a focus on one thing, good songs. Their latest full length CD release, Armed With Only The Light, is a project that from beginning to end was steeped in a strong desire to create multi-part harmonies and catchy upbeat songs that are fun to listen to, and fun to play.
Overshine has a wide range of musical influences. "We are very diverse, from classical trainings to pure rock and roll backgrounds. This gives us a unique sound," says Overshine's front man Dan Macmillan. Overshine is featured on 92.5 the River's new music page as well as their Home Grown Hour, and has been profiled in multiple print media outlets including Metro West News and Hop News.
