Karita Mattila stars in the title role of Puccini’s operatic thriller opposite Marcelo Álvarez as Cavaradossi. George Gagnidze plays Scarpia, the sadistic chief of police who wants Tosca for himself. Le Monde called Luc Bondy’s dramatic production “a perfect night at the opera.”
