    Calliope, Boston’s collaborative choral/orchestral ensemble, will open their fifth season this September with Fairy Tales and Fables. Sponsored in part by the Swedish Women's Educational Association (SWEA) and Harvard Pilgrim Health Care Fairy Tales and Fables is planned to include the US premiere of Stenhammer's Snöfrid along with excerpts from Purcell's The Fairy Queen, Dvo?ák's Rusalka, Humperdinck's Hänsel and Gretel, and Sondheim's Into the Woods.

        Tickets:

        $35 (premium seating), $25 (general admission), and $15 (seniors and students w/ ID). Subscriptions for the entire 2011-2012 season are available for $50. Discounted rates are available for groups of 10 or more.
