Appearing for the second time at Boston's historic Symphony Hall, Voices of Hope’s annual fundraising gala on Saturday, September 17, is a rallying call to arms against cancer through inspirational song, dance and testimonials. Hailed as "ordinary people on an extraordinary mission," Voices of Hope is comprised of more than 100 local musical theater performers who donate their time and talent to raise awareness and funds for cancer research.

The event begins with a cocktail reception and silent auction at 6:30 pm, followed by a moving theatrical event featuring popular, traditional, and Broadway music illustrating the battle to conquer cancer and painting a compelling picture of hope that a cure is possible. The performance will be sign language interpreted.

All proceeds go to the Belfer Institute for Applied Cancer Science at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, a revolutionary research center that rests upon a multidisciplinary and multi-institutional scientific collaboration that focuses on the six deadliest cancers and is at the heart of Dana-Farber's strategic research plan.
