Emerson Presents—Director Kathryn Ramey in Person

Filmmaker and anthropologist Kathryn Ramey’s award winning films operate at the intersection of experimental film and socio-cultural research. We are pleased to welcome Ramey to the Paramount to present a program of her work, including her recent video Yanqui WALKER and the OPTICAL REVOLUTION, an exploration of the obscure American expansionist and military dictator William Walker, who through force and coercion became president of Nicaragua in 1856.
