Learn about decorative arts from Historic New England’s experts with this in-depth workshop. Curatorial staff lecture on furniture, textiles, ceramics, basketry, and wallpaper and cover their history, craftsmanship, and changing methods of production. Participants have the opportunity to examine original pieces from Historic New England’s extensive collection up close. The course concludes with a tour of the collections storage area.
A boxed lunch is available for $15 per person. Registration is required.
