MUSIC
into unison with romantic spirit: Schumann, Mahler, Berg, Harbison, Korngold
Presented by Chameleon Arts Ensemble of Boston at Goethe-Institut Boston
March 25, 2012
Pronounced a genius at the age of 10 by no less than Mahler, Erich Korngold was hailed as the very last breath of the Romantic spirit in Vienna. Chameleon Arts Ensemble keeps that spirit alive with rare performances of rare works: Mahler's Piano Quartet and Korngold's astonishing Suite for 2 violins, cello & piano left hand.
