Earth: Fragile Planet is a traveling exhibition of illustrations that address environmental issues through the themes of earth, energy, air, water, and wildlife. Originating at the Museum of American Illustration at the Society of Illustrators, the exhibition showcases 40 of the world’s most accomplished illustrators and talented newcomers including: Shaun Tan, who won an Academy Award for his short animation The Lost Thing; Tim O’Brien, who created an illustration of Barak Obama for the cover of Rolling Stone and illustrated countless Time covers; Edel Rodriguez, who created art for last years Rock N Roll Hall of Fame; and Peter DeSeve, who worked on the Ice Age movies and created many New Yorker covers.
