    Witness an ancient art reinvented. Experiment with paper in ways you never thought possible. This amazing style of art is origami. You will never see paper the same way!On Saturday, October 1, 2011, you are cordially invited to experience the way of origami, the Japanese art of folding squares of paper into representational shapes, through a special one-day festival, held at Emerson Umbrella Center for the Arts, 40 Stow St, Concord MA. A full day of events awaits you including classes; unique vendors; a showing of Between the Folds,an award-winning documentary exploring the science, art, and ingenuity of many of the world’s best paper folders; story-telling; a poetry slam; and much more. This event culminates a month-long origami exhibit at the Umbrella, featuring works by origami specialists and challenged artists.
