BEYOND BOSTON CHIC IS LOOKING AT YOU! Fashion Blogger is Poised to Place Boston on the National Stage Through Local Exhibit BOSTON, MA, August 16, 2011 – The blog Beyond Boston Chic has brought worldwide attention to Boston and the fashion of its residents. As a result, Martini Severin, architect and voice of Beyond Boston Chic celebrates Boston style through an exhibit opening September 19th at Boston City Hall. Martini, a Haitian immigrant who grew up in Cambridge, found her niche by combining her two passions: photography and fashion. She first launched the blog as a medium to share her interests with friends near and far. Three years later, Beyond Boston Chic has a readership that edges towards 23,000 monthly readers. It has built an active community of readers interested in style and about how others are dressing. “Quite simply, my blog chronicles the rich sartorial spirit of those who live in our fair city. My inaugural exhibit, appropriately held at Boston City Hall, will provide a wonderful opportunity for us all to see photos of people on their way to work and play in one space.
