Following a 5pm lecture by Mahler scholar Katarina Markovic, collaborative piano chair Cameron Stowe gathers NEC singers and pianists for a Liederabend devoted to songs Mahler and other composers including Richard Strauss set to texts from the collection of German folk poems, Des Knaben Wunderhorn. The concert proper will begin at 6pm.
