Using a cello and a foot-controlled laptop to record layer upon layer of cello, Zoë Keating creates intricate, haunting and compelling music. Born in Canada and classically trained from the age of 8, she creates a distinctive mix of old and new, producing minimalist music with a pop sensibility.
