Sayat Nova Dance Company (SNDC) is celebrating its 25th anniversary and premiering its new production, Journey Through Time, on November 19, 2011 at Robinson Theatre, 617 Lexington St, Waltham. Journey tells the story of Armenia - from pagan times to adoption of Christianity, from struggles to preserve its culture to celebration of an independent nation.

SNDC is an independent non-profit arts organization, whose mission is to preserve and promote Armenian culture. The Watertown, MA, based company was founded in 1986 and has since traveled extensively in the US, Canada and Armenia. SNDC has over 70 volunteer members: dancers, stage and support crew. The repertoire of the Company consists of energetic dances that educate Armenian and non-Armenian audiences about this ancient culture.
