Run time: 80 min. | Switzerland, USA | Language: English | Film Format: Video American dancer and choreographer Anna Halprin revolutionized modern dance. Since the 1950’s, she has welcomed students and collaborators (including Meredith Monk, Trisha Brown, Yvonne Rainer, and Merce Cunningham) to her outdoor “deck,” developing experimental pieces that have been performed worldwide. Her fervent need to “dance” the major events of her life has made her a pioneer in the dance therapy movement. Now in her 90’s, she leads workshops for all ages and continues to create and perform.
