Dark Sky Productions is partnering with major label Projekt Records (founded in 1983 by Sam Rosenthal of the band Black Tape for a Blue Girl)to produce Projektfest '11 (http://www.projekt.com/festival/), the largest darker alternative music festival in New England this fall.

The event, to be hosted on Saturday, November 12th, at the Middle East Downstairs from 7:00 PM to 12:30 AM, will feature 3 national headliners - Black Tape for a Blue Girl (http://www.blacktapeforabluegirl.com); WEEP (the brainchild of Doc Hammer of "The Venture Brothers" fame), and the darling of the goth/steampunk/sci-fi convention circuit, acoustic singer-songwriter Voltaire (http://www.voltaire.net).

Local support will be provided by Sugar Snow, dubbed "Boston's answer to Mazzy Star" (http://www.sugarsnowmusic.com) and Do Not Forsake Me Oh My Darling (http://www.donotforsake.com), dark arty minimalist rock inspired by the 1960's cult TV series "The Prisoner". Various vendors of sundry wares will be present as well, and Projektfest '11 will also be giving away a brand new Ibanez Darkstone Electric Guitar (estimated value $895) at the concert.

Tickets are $20 in advance/$25 day-of-show and can be procured through the Middle East Box Office (walk-in hours: 2-8 PM daily at the 472 Massachusetts Avenue in Cambridge, MA location) or by clicking here:
