Georg Büchner, playwright; Steve Ginsburg, director. One of the most performed and influential plays of the German repertoire is re-imagined by director Steve Ginsburg as an expansive and episodic journey that will unfold across multiple theaters. Follow Woyzeck as his sanity slips away and the demons of modernity take over. Written at the beginning of the 19th century, Woyzeck has been hailed as the first “modernist” play and is still considered a highly insightful story to the world of today. Free Admission; tickets are limited and must be reserved by emailing woyzeck.bu@gmail.com. Presented by the Boston University College of Fine Arts.
