AGNI 74th Issue Reading & Launch Party

AGNI Magazine celebrates its 74th issue with readings by Sydney Lea: Author of nine poetry collections, and the new Poet Laureate of Vermont. Sarah Braunstein: Author of the novel "The Sweet Relief of Missing Children. Named one of "5 Under 35" fiction writers by the National Book Foundation. Jonathan Wilson: Author of seven books, including a New York Times Notable Book of the Year and a runner-up for the National Jewish Book Award. William Giraldi: AGNI's fiction editor, author of the acclaimed new novel "Busy Monsters," and a critic for the New York Times Book Review. AGNI hosts a reading and release party at BU's Boston Playwrights' Theatre, November 9th at 7:00 p.m., to launch the new fall issue. AGNI 74 features poems by Amy Gerstler and Sherman Alexie; translations of Rilke, Aleixandre, and Sanguineti; essays by Elizabeth Kadetsky, Caryl Pagel, and Jonathan Wilson; fiction by Gabriel Brownstein and Helen DeWitt. And visual art from the Saved project--parings of photographs and prose poems by artist Jody Servon and poet Lorene Delany-Ullman.
