WORKSHOPS
Basic Upholstery
Presented by Eliot School of Fine and Applied Arts at Eliot School of Fine and Applied Arts
March 7-April 11, 2012
|
Learn the basic elements of upholstery as you complete a simple footstool: webbing, springing (with coil springs and 8-way tying), padding, covering and stitching with a machine. This is a perfect prequel to our regular Upholstery class, if you want some skills before addressing your own furniture. Materials will be supplied; students will be coached on purchasing their own fabric. Limit 6 students
