Seminar on health care reform forcreative professionals scheduled for Nov. 7, 2011

StageSource and ARTmorpheus, in partnership with the Boston Center for the Arts, are co-sponsoring a health care seminar for visual and performing artists and entertainment professionals. The seminar is being offered by The Actors Fund’s Artists Health Insurance Resource Center (AHIRC)

The seminar will address how our nation's artists can benefit from recent health care reform. you will learn how to evaluate your current coverage, and whether there's a better plan or program for you. The seminar will be followed by a Q&A and individual consultations. All information is comprehensive and unbiased, with no commercial or political sponsors.

SEMINAR TOPICS:

Understanding health care reform
Applying for government programs
Finding affordable health insurance and health care
Addressing issues particular to the self-employed
Lowering the cost of medical coverage, dental care, and medications.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND: Massachusetts theatre practitioneres, dancers, singers, musicians, visual artists, arts administrators and other creative professionals.
