Winner of the 2009 Concert Artists Guild International Competition, Ms. Kim’s playing was praised by The Strad as "...heart-stopping and unrivaled beauty..." Her sensitivity to the expressive and contextual components of the violin enables her to transport audiences beyond mere technical virtuosity. This depth and passion led to a First Prize at the 2004 Yehudi Menuhin International Competition when she was only 19. Ms. Kim plays a 1687 Gioffredo Cappa violin.
