On Thursday, December 15, bring your family to a holiday evening at the Concord Museum to meet some local authors and illustrators whose books are featured in Family Trees: A Celebration of Children's Literature.

Meet special guests Brian Lies, author and illustrator of the new Bats at the Ballgame and bestsellers Bats at the Beach and Bats at the Library; Melissa Stewart, the award-winning author of more than 100 science books for children, including the Family Trees featured Under the Snow; and Rose Lewis, author of the bestseller, I Love You Like Crazy Cakes and the new book, Orange Peel’s Pocket. Stroll through the galleries to enjoy the trees, munch on a holiday cookie, and visit with authors in Brooke Hall as they sign your books. Books are available for purchase in the Museum Shop.

Family Trees features 36 fanciful trees of all shapes and sizes, decorated with original ornaments inspired by acclaimed children’s storybooks and contemporary picture book favorites.
