Spring Awakening tells the story of repressed adolescents struggling to find equilibrium in a strange and vicious world distorted by the prism of puberty. Based on the 1890 German play banned for its sexual content, the musical adaptation has been modernized and infused with a Tony Award-winning punk rock score. From the creative team that brought you Chicago at OBERON comes one of the first college productions of this Broadway sensation. Our staging brings the show's sexual psychosis to the audience as a four-dimensional immersive experience in one of the hottest theater spaces in the Boston area.
