The Watch City Dickens Christmas Festival & Market, presented by the Charles River Museum of Industry & Innovation, located at 154 Moody Street, Waltham MA, features a unique Holiday entertainment and shopping experience. Throughout the day, Pastimes Entertainment will present an interactive theatrical experience, including Victorian Carolers and a Victorian Santa Claus and his workshop elf. Queen Victoria will hold court and roving actors will present scenes from Charles Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol.” Visitors may interact with Ebenezer Scrooge, the ghosts of Christmas past present and future, and watch one of Santa’s elves make toys for good girls and boys in a unique historical setting. In addition, the museum has gathered together twenty local artisans offering hand-crafted goods including wooden toys, leather gifts, porcelain china, top hats, jewelry and more, perfect for everyone on your Holiday list. Kids can type letter to Santa on one of the museum's nineteenth century typewrites and search for his elves in a scavenger hunt.
