The Aardvark Jazz Orchestra will honor the late Kip Tiernan its 39th Annual Christmas Concert at Emmanuel Church in Boston. Selections will include The Shepherd's Carol by William Billings, I Heard the Bells on Christmas Day, and Mark Harvey’s piece The Prophet, a portrait of Kip Tiernan (1926-2011), founder of Rosie's Place, Poor People’s United Fund, and other organizations. The concert will benefit the work of the Poor People’s United Fund, in honor of Kip.
