This year’s annual Boston College Candelmas Lecture features James T. Fisher, who is a professor of theology at Fordham University. Fisher’s research interests include the cultural history of religion and ethnicity in the United States as well as American Catholic studies. He is the author of On the Irish Waterfront: The Crusader, the Movie, and the Soul of the Port of New York as well as an autism advocate.
