    LITTLE BLACK TOPSY AND THE MAGICAL WHITE FAIRY SOAP tells the story of a young black girl on a journey to find a magical potion which will change her skin from black to white. Weaving together experimental theater and provocative performance art, LITTLE BLACK TOPSY, deconstructs the black feminine and investigates the meaning of beauty, drawing connections between past and present American experiences with blackness and girlhood.

    LITTLE BLACK TOPSY is proudly presented by the Oberon as a part of their "New Works Series"
    In this exciting monthly series of new work by Boston's most promising artists, OBERON will give a first look at emerging talent in a unique workshop setting. Local artists, inspired by OBERON itself, share works in progress within the immersive, social and groundbreaking world of Club Theater that OBERON is known for.
