Selections for Review: A New Installation of Western Art at the Harvard Art Museums

Looking at painting, sculpture, and other objects, the speaker will consider juxtapositions and dialogues among the newly installed works in the exhibition Re-View. The discussion will feature new and familiar artworks, such as the 5th-century BC Attic Red-Figure Neck-Amphora, attributed to the Berlin Painter, and Claude Monet’s Charing Cross Bridge: Fog on the Thames, exploring central themes in Western art history.
Free with the price of admission; Admission is free to MA residents with valid ID on Saturdays before noon.
