January 11-January 15, 2012
Add Review/Comment
For 23 years, the Grammy Award winning band has played its brand of klezmer and Yiddish music. In 2006 The Klezmatics released "Wonder Wheel: Lyrics by Woody Guthrie." Composing original music to newly discovered lyrics by the American icon, it was the band's first English language LP and won a Grammy for Best World Music. Director Erik Anjou followed the band for more than three years on tour from the Big Apple to Poland to Israel and in the studio to make this film.
