In Gian Carlo Menotti’s romance infused opera, Amelia schemes to prevent her husband and lover from meeting while desperately trying to make it to the evening’s ball. Stage direction by Kirsten Cairns, musical direction by Eve Budnick, and produced by Opera del West with singers from the region’s premier conservatories. Complimentary champagne and chocolates will be served.
