Young Masters of Brandeis
March 25, 2012
Masters of the violin, cello, viola and piano from Brandeis University’s acclaimed music program come together to perform selections from the most popular piece of Baroque music, Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons. Each violin concerto resembles a season with instrumentation evoking icy rain and summer thunderstorms. They will also be performing transcriptions of arias for two violins taken from Mozart’s opera, The Magic Flute, as well as Mozart’s "Rondo" for violin and piano.
