The French Cultural Center is honored to partner with New England Conservatory to bring you Quatuor Zaïde, the fruit of a collaboration between NEC and the ProQuartet European Center for Chamber Music (ProQuartet-CEMC).
Since 2003, NEC and ProQuartet-CEMC have collaborated in a unique exchange program for exceptional young chamber ensembles. Each year two string quartets, one from ProQuartet-CEMC and one from NEC, are selected to participate in a week-long residency abroad. These special residencies are comprised of mentorship, coaching, and rehearsal, and each culminates in recitals in Boston and France respectively.
