Paint old classic Florida architecture reminiscent of a Tennessee Williams play, stroll the charming streets of Key West, immerse yourself and paint the surrounding tropical landscape and warm light with artist and teacher, Charles Shurcliff.

Artists will paint everyday in different locations with demos and instruction by Charlie, and at the end of each day we will meet for a group critique. This will be followed by group dinners (if you choose) to discuss the events of the day and enjoy the comraderie of fellow artists.

We will stay in the lovely and historic Avalon House (www.avalonbnb.com) in the center of old Key West and walking distance to all painting locations. We will go on a trolley tour of the town on the first morning to orient ourselves. Some of the places we will explore and paint include the Hemingway House and Gardens,

Key West lighthouse, the Audubon House and Gardens. We will go on

a sunset cruise where you can paint or just enjoy the view with a glass of wine. There are many excellent outdoor cafes where you can sketch and watch the world go by. And beautiful beaches!

The trip INCLUDES 6 nights hotel accommodation in Avalon House (beautifully decorated rooms each with a queen bed and private bath), a full breakfast everyday, transportation to and from Key West airport, sunset cruise, entrance fees to all painting locations, and instruction. Please note that a NON-PARTICIPATING SPOUSE can

share a room with you at no extra charge with breakfast.

The trip DOES NOT INCLUDE airfare, lunches and dinners.
