Among the works Ms. Ricker and Mr. Nicholas will offer are songs of German Romantic composers Schubert and Brahms, who were inspired by poetry about experiencing the spirit in nature; French composer Maurice Ravel, who set the text of the Kaddish, an ancient Jewish payer; American composer Samuel Barber who set poems from the Celtic mystical tradition; and Boston’s own John Harbison who set the passionate poetry of the Hindi mystic, Mirabai. Come and experience a special gift of spirit.
