PLAN YOUR EXPERIENCE   

An event geared specifically for women to celebrate the Jewish holiday of Purim will be held on Wednesday, February 29 at the Leventhal-Sidman Jewish Community Center (333 Nahanton Street) in Newton from 7-9pm.

Purim Primary 2012 is a night of fun, participatory entertainment featuring actor Jon Adam Ross and performer Shira Klein. Along with all attendees, Ross and Klein will explore the concept of strong women, Jewish identity and the meaning of Purim in a manner similar to a presidential primary election.
Participants are asked to bring full size toiletries (toothpaste, deodorant, shampoo, etc.), disposable diapers larger than size 2 or a pre-paid phone card to donate to Second Step, an organization that assists survivors of domestic violence.
The event is sponsored by the Jewish Community Centers of Greater Boston and co-sponsored by Mayyim Hayyim, the Boston Chapter of Hadassah and Jewish Women’s Archive.
