Copley Place Unveils BSO's 'Project Debussy'

Copley Place hosts the Boston Symphony Orchestra’s Project Debussy February 9 – 17 and will celebrate with a special unveiling event on February 9th to welcome the 11 fabulous designs that will be available for public viewing within Copley Place’s Center Court Atrium. Esteemed Arts Reporter for WGBH’s “Greater Boston,” Jared Bowen, will MC the event.
Project Debussy is the BSO's annual fashion design contest inspired by the iconic early 20th century French composer Claude Debussy, featuring eveningwear designs by 11 talented fashion students from schools in the greater Boston area.
In it's 4th year, the eleven contestants who competed in the Project Debussy contest were Kowoon Jeong, The School of Fashion Design; JanFrevic Lujares, Massachusetts College of Arts and Design; Htwe Htwe Han, Yannery Burgos, and Katie Suji Kim, Mount Ida College; Kaitlyn Gonfrade and Amanda Simonelli, Framingham State University; Megan Coffman, Amanda Erickson, and Lindsey Holcomb, Lasell College; and Teresa Calabro, Fisher College.
