Swing Caravan plays lively, nuanced music that is rooted in Gypsy Jazz and the American Songbook. Following in the tradition of Django Reinhardt (from France in the 1930s and 40s), they make playful, improvisatory folk-jazz beholden to no purist tradition. Swing Caravan interprets Gypsy jazz and a wide range of songs through all sorts of modern and world music filters, making their distinctive sound a fresh alternative to both the old and modern jazz.
