Peter DeCamp Haines and Eric Sealine Exhibition
Presented by Boston Sculptors Gallery at Boston Sculptors Gallery
March 14 - April 15, 2012
With “Elements and Compounds” Haines explores the formal aspects of sculpture: form, line, space, scale. He searches for shapes that feel right to his aesthetic, which favors geometry, the compound curve, negative space, and clean silhouette. In “An Introduction to Fluid Dynamics” Sealine uses childhood memories of playing in a creek as a starting point exploring issues of discovery, loss, restoration, and the sometimes-circular flow of time.
