    Shalshelet is an international organization that seeks out and encourages the creation of new music for worship and performance for the benefit of k’lal Israel. Shalshelet believes that music has the power to link Jews in a broader and deeper sense of community, enhancing the vibrancy of the Jewish people, affiliated and unaffiliated, across all denominations.

    Shalshelet is an international organization that seeks out and encourages the creation of new music for worship and performance for the benefit of k’lal Israel. Shalshelet believes that music has the power to link Jews in a broader and deeper sense of community, enhancing the vibrancy of the Jewish people, affiliated and unaffiliated, across all denominations.

    The evening will feature compositions from New England composers including Devin Goldenberg, Jeremiah Klarman, Yosl Kurland, Ernest Rakhlin, Ken Richmond and others. Many area cantors, including Jodi Sufrin and Gastón Bogomolni, will be singing, as will Koleinu, Boston’s Jewish Community Chorus.
